ChristianaCare’s CISO said home-based care moves more patient data into the cloud, expanding the security surface her team has to protect.
In a June 29, 2026 Information Security Media Group interview, Anahi Santiago, CISO at ChristianaCare, said hospital-at-home and home-based care require patient data to leave hospital walls and move into cloud environments. She said that shift expands the volume of sensitive information her team must protect across public, private, and software-as-a-service platforms.
